Description of Services: To avoid caregiver burnout, hospital emergency department visits, unnecessary hospital admissions and early admissions to Long-Term Care facilities, among older adults, the overnight respite program offers in-home respite to clients that qualify for the program. Service provided by Overnight Respite Workers (ORWs)

The program is not equipped to support bedridden or palliative clients

Recent discharge from hospital (within 1 week to 2 months)
Diagnosed with Alzheimer's or mental illness requiring emotional support
older adults who have caregivers experiencing burnout
