Description of Services: JustKids initiative brings together programs and services specifically created to meet the need of children experiencing parental incarceration and have challenges with housing

Programs:

Storybook Literacy Program: promotes literacy and parent-child bonding * incarcerated parents select a new book for their child that record the book * the book and recording are then delivered to the child, so the child can share a story with their parent anytime

Bright Skies Day Camp: a day camp that offers children the opportunity to make friends and experience summer fun, supported by trauma-informed camp counsellors

McNeil Academy: an alternative school that provides high school education for at-risk girls in grades 9-12, through a specialized program which builds resiliency and life skills
