Description of Services: |
A preventative, educational program to address sexual exploitation, online safety and sex trafficking in the community. Educates female identifying youth about exploitation, increases knowledge to assist in identifying and avoiding potentially exploitative situations and provides a space for girls to find support and access much needed information and resources The program runs in a group format, consisting of 8-12 weekly sessions that run approximately 1-2 hours in length. The program focuses on topics such as understanding predators and recruitment, reducing the risk of exploitation, substance use and exploitation, developing self-esteem and a sense of value, healthy sexuality, healthy relationships, online safety and finding help and accessing supports and services |
