Reintegration Program which gives young women a place to go if they are in conflict with the law. A ten-bed open custody/open detention facility for young women The residence offers an environment where young women can explore life patterns, learn new skills and develop positive attitudes respecting both themselves and others in their community. This gender specific program provides the framework for young women to develop self-confidence, self-esteem and the interpersonal skills necessary for a balanced and successful life. The care provided to young women in the program includes the provision of food, shelter, educational upgrading, supervision and guidance, as well as the promotion of physical, emotional and social well-being |
