Description of Services: Program for children with serious mental health problems. Use of fun activities and counseling to help children build better relationships with their family, schoolmates and community

The program is made up of 3 components:
  • parent and child groups where families in the group work together to learn new skills
  • counseling sessions for the child and family
  • an after-school program where the child will have fun and learn new skills

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Children 8 to 13 years old and live in the Region of Peel or if the child could loose his or her place at school or in the home, has serious problems controlling his or her behavior with others, the child has a social worker from Peel Children's Aid Society or may need services from Peel Children's Aid Society
