Organization: Caledon Meals on Wheels
Description of Services: Volunteer opportunities for following programs:
  • Meal Delivery Driver Commitment is approximately one hour at noon, weekly or bi-weekly. Mileage is paid)
  • In-Home Friendly Visiting One hour per week social visit, lunch or exercise with a senior in their home)
  • Special Event (Assistance occasionally, when events are scheduled)
  • Office Administrative Support
  • Fundraising
  • Board of Director (Board meets approximately six times per year, usually on a Tuesday evening)
  • Seniors Health and Wellness Social Program volunteer.(Assist Program Coordinator with weekly social gatherings in local seniors' buildings. Commitment is two-three hours weekly or bi-weekly
  • Kitchen - Prep Dishwasher

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Older Adults and adults with disabilities * recovering from a short or long term illness
Application: Potential volunteers fill out an application * police and reference checks are required
