Friendly visiting program for older adults and people with disabilities who are socially isolated Four types of friendly visits: Let's Get Together - clients are matched with volunteers who make weekly visits to their home * activities can include: chatting, looking at old photos, playing cards or even going for a walk or coffee Telechats - friendly phone calls with clients that would prefer their visits over the phone Let's do Lunch - weekly lunch volunteers visits, volunteer brings lunch for both volunteer and client Let's Exercise - trained volunteers visit clients once a week to do a simple in-home chair exercise routine together (on hold) |
