Description of Services: Respite workers provide non-medical care and companionship for older adults and adults with disabilities within their homes * relief for caregivers of the elderly and disabled people aged 19 and over
  • provide companionship
  • prepare meals
  • medication monitoring
  • help with activities of daily living

Fees: $50 assessment fee for the program * hourly rates, duties and service schedules are negotiated directly between the worker and the clients * clients pay respite workers directly
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Older adults and adults with disabilities who are at least 19 years of age, who need physical, social, or emotional supports * must reside in Caledon
Application: Call ahead - Some services require appointments or referral
